open a shell & become root
type "ilog" [enter]
ilog asks for a subject
type your subject and [enter]
ilog opens the "vi" editor.
Date, time, the user, subject and all available keywords are shown.
enter your log entry
- leave an empty line after the header
- insert the given command(s)
- ,,->'' indicates a given result
- the listing of installed packets and their corresponding versions.
It has been generated from the "Get:"-lines of apt-get output filtered through awk '{print "\t"$4,$6}'
set keywords
Keywords are "software", because a software package was installed,
and "system" because ist was installed by the system's/distribuitions packaging mechanism.
